The storyline while in the movie exhibits this. Chaplin’s tramp falls in like with Merna, who returns his affection. Then, a tightrope walker named Rex (performed by Henry Bergman) will come onto the scene and Merna quickly falls in love with him. Why? Due to the fact his act is daring and risky although Chaplin’s clown act has fewer prestige.
